° 04 15 N 35 ° 08 09 E / 33.07083, 3 5.13583 Betzet (Hebrew בצת) - a moshav in the Matte Asher Regi onal Council, the District of northern Israel. Lies in the northe rn coastal plains in the western Galilee near the border with Leb anon, surrounded by the town Shlomi, Moshav Liman, and the kibbutz Rosh HaNikra and Matzuwa. Originally in this place there were fields belonging to the Arab village of al-Bassa (Arabic البصة). Right next to the British Mandate period, the British built a small military airport Betzet.
